Our Mission
To create a more accessible and affordable health care system through storytelling and civic engagement.
Our Model:
Engage. Organize. Mobilize.
Community Engagement
Florida Voices for Health works to build relationships with and between Floridians impacted by health access issues, lawmakers, providers, administrators, community organizations, the media and other stakeholders.
Storytelling
Storytelling in one-on-one sessions or in small groups helps decisionmakers better understand the needs of Floridians and the gaps in the system.
Community Education
We offer in-person and virtual presentations on the health care issues impacting Floridians, the latest policy developments, and advocacy tranings.
Resource Navigation
We connect Floridians to ACA Navigators and other community based organizations. We develop educational resources and provide information on how to access free and low cost health care in Florida.
Organizing
We convene spaces where Floridians of all experience levels can stay informed on policy and sharpen their advocacy skills in community with others from across the state.
FVH Advocacy Collaborative
The FVH Advocacy Collaborative is a working group of Floridians and community organizations focused on educating lawmakers and the public about our priority issues.
FVH Monthly Policy Calls
On the third Wednesday of each month (10 am), Florida Voices for Health hosts a call with this Collaborative featuring the latest updates on Florida's health care landscape. We are often joined by national and state partners for presentations on timely issues.
The Florida Oral Health Alliance
We connect Floridians to ACA Navigators and other community based organizations. We develop educational resources and provide information on how to access free and low cost health care in Florida.
Mobilizing for Action
Our goal is to advance equitable, people-centered health policy at all levels of government. Along with our coalition partners, we've helped to successfully advocate for disability supports, access to oral health, and strengthening the Medicaid program.

We continue to ensure that the voices of Floridians are heard in the ongoing health policy debate.
